Even though we have everyone together in the same office, and most communication happens face-to-face, we use Campfire as a way to share information with everyone without interrupting each other. This also helps if someone who's been away catch up with what happened in their absence.

We use Campfire as a "log" of everything that's happening around the company. Most of our tools have the ability to post a message to Campfire when some event happens. Since we have "Everyone Together", there's rarely much conversation in there, but it's a great place to see what activity there has been if you've been away from the office for a while.
